| Published Description: | Sales Account Executives Our client, a leading developer of financial technology solutions for the low-latency, high-frequency, algorithmic trading vertical is currently hiring Sales Account Executives. These positions are located in the New York City region and will focus on sales of software products and professional services offerings to major financial services and trading firms, financial trading platforms and trading network providers. Offerings are targeted towards increasing the speed, security and accuracy of low-latency, high-volume trading networks. Responsibilities Sales Account Executives are expected to prospect, penetrate, and close solution sales opportunities with trading firms focused on low-latency, high-frequency, algorithmic trading strategies and execution, such as proprietary trading desks, Hedge Funds, prime brokers and market platform providers. Prospect for new customers, calling at the CIO, CTO and Application Development management level. Engage with multiple decision makers and stakeholders, in technology, business unit and executive management areas. Develop an account plan, prepare presentations/business case solutions and implement short and long-range account plans. Work closely with all levels of customers to understand their business goals and objectives and solve problems using products and services. Accountable for making and exceeding the target revenue goals. Develop strong relations with customers at decision-making levels. Manages sales cycle for new prospects, including identifying opportunities, qualifying prospects, coordinating activities, such as site surveys, presentations, demonstrations, and review of prospect requirements. Provides feedback to sales, executive and product management on customer plans and requirements, market trends, products, services, competitive situations and comparisons. Manages existing customer accounts to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and relationships. Addresses product support issues and escalates to support personnel as necessary. Attends industry trade shows and forums and remains current with all industry trends and technological developments. Participates in product training and industry education. Coordinates and/or assists with various marketing promotional activities. Experience, Skills and Education Requirements B.A. or B.S. Degree strongly preferred. A proven track record selling to demanding trading technologies teams and end-users. This requires strong knowledge of advanced trading technologies, buy side firms using automated trading technologies and prime brokers. Proven and successful experience of selling technology/transactional products in to the financial community Good understanding of trading markets and appropriate technology, including emerging low latency market data and Algorithmic trading environments 5-8+ years of successful direct sales at applications software, Consulting, professional services, or major trading technology provider. Candidates MUST have strong track record of selling to our client targeted verticals: Strong rolodex and account base with Major Money Center banks, Investment Banks, Trading firms, Hedge Funds, Financial Trading Network providers and Trading Exchanges. Strong sales background Sales of algo trading, low latency software, solutions and services. Record of continuous and consistent sales success in the Financial Services and Financial Trading firms, Financial Trading Network providers and Trading Exchanges. Strong technical knowledge of Networking technologies and their impact on customers success. Strong preference for candidates with background in structured sales methodology and associated training, such as Solutions Sales, SPIN Selling, Miller-Heiman, Targeted Account Sales (TAS). Must possess a "hunter" mentality, with a track record of proactively approaching, cultivating, penetrating and opening new accounts. Ability to present at the highest management levels. Ability to handle complex negotiations Ability to develop integrated solutions to customer requirements Ability to travel and work under pressure Superior presentation and demonstration skills Excellent verbal and communication skills are essential with a solid reputation for proven success and ability to develop and maintain exceptional client relationships Extensive knowledge of competitive issues within accounts. |
