We are currently hiring a Systems Engineer in the Philadelphia / Cherry Hill region for our client, an industry leading developer of test & monitoring systems for VoIP network service providers. This engineer will be focused on the needs of Tier 1 clients, and will ensure customer satisfaction, as well as revenue growth and account management. Compensation is competitive for a role of this nature.

Published Description:  

Systems Engineer / Project Management / Account Management – F/T  (Philly / Cherry Hill)

 

Responsibilities:

·         Work with customers to create and execute test plans for their specific network deployments.

·         Configure and troubleshoot the system on site as well as provide follow-on support for open issues.

·         The SE will work with the Technical Support team to transfer knowledge of the customer's configuration and network topology.

 

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

·         Must be familiar with data networking and telephony environments with an emphasis on Next Generation IP services.

·         Knowledge and demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas of specialization is required:

o        IP Telephony Architectures and VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, MGCP, RTP/RTCP)

o        Session Border Controllers (SBCs)

o        QoS (MPLS / DiffServ)

o        LAN/WAN data networking architectures and routing protocols

·         Minimum of 5+ years of successful system implementation, deployment and support ideally in support of Tier One telecommunications service provider customers.

·         BSCS/EE or equivalent.
